Bateleur is an independent creative label bringing together clothing, accessories, prints and objects. Every visual is created by François Thevenet for Bateleur, with a taste for colour, nature, humour and slightly unexpected ideas.

Our products are printed, embroidered or produced to order by specialised production partners. Whenever possible, orders are fulfilled at a facility close to their delivery destination.

The country where a blank garment or accessory was originally manufactured may differ from the country where it is printed or embroidered. Product origins therefore vary depending on the item, colour, size and availability.

We prefer to be transparent: “printed in Europe” does not necessarily mean that the blank garment itself was manufactured in Europe.

Producing items on demand allows us to avoid manufacturing large quantities of unsold stock. It also makes it possible for a small independent label like Bateleur to offer a wider and more playful collection.

Made-to-order production still has an environmental impact, but it helps reduce unnecessary inventory and overproduction.

We may be able to change or cancel an order if production has not started. Once an order has entered production, we cannot guarantee that it can be modified or cancelled.

Please check your size, colour and delivery address carefully before confirming your purchase.

Most products require approximately 2 to 5 working days to be printed, embroidered or prepared before shipping.

This is an estimate and may vary depending on the product, production location, order volume and time of year.

Delivery time depends on your location, the product and the shipping method.

As a general guide, orders delivered within the European Union usually take approximately 4 to 10 working days after production. International deliveries may take longer.

Production time and shipping time are separate, so please allow approximately 6 to 15 working days in total for most European orders.

These timeframes are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates.

Not necessarily. Some products are made at different facilities or require different packaging. Your order may therefore arrive in more than one package and on different days.

You will receive separate tracking information whenever available. You will not be charged additional shipping fees after placing your order because it has been divided into several packages.

Yes. Customers located in the European Union may notify us of their decision to return an item within 14 calendar days of receiving it.

The product must then be returned within 14 calendar days after notifying us. It must be unworn, unwashed and in its original condition.

We do not currently offer direct exchanges.

If you need a different size, colour or product, please return the original item in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy and place a new order.

For a change of mind, an incorrect size or an incorrect colour, return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.

If the product is defective, damaged or different from what you ordered, we will resolve the issue at no additional cost.

• Clear photographs of the product

• A photograph of the packaging if it was damaged during delivery

If the product is defective, damaged, misprinted or incorrect, we will arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.

Please do not return the product unless we ask you to do so.
